Patrick Roussy started at the Wiliamstown creperie in 2001, and worked at both locations until 2009. His love of France and food drew him to live and work in France from 2005 to 2006, and he brings with him 20 years of hospitality experience.
Originally from Adelaide, Louis Spizzo has been a familiar face at Breizoz for the past four years. He has a background in hospitality and graphic design.
Patrick and Louis have eagerly taken the baton passed by Jean-Ma and Catherine. They intend to continue serving authentic Breton crepes and galettes, whilst adding their own unique touches to the business.
Breizoz – Origins
Jean-Marie Blanchot and Catherine Ryan opened the first Breizoz French Creperie on Smith Street, Fitzroy in 1999. The Williamstown location operated for 10 years, and hosted many a wedding in its small chapel. The Sunday croissant breakfasts are sorely missed by many a Breizoz regular!
Now it is possible to eat Breton style crepes at many venues, but Breizoz is the original We pride ourselves on providing quality French food in an authentic atmosphere.
